Thanksgiving Brunch, Thanksgiving Dinner and the bar-side “Friendsgiving” at Water’s Table restaurant
Water’s Table in the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington in Renton’s Southport will offer Thanksgiving Day brunch and dinner options, and (at the bar only, Nov. 21-23) a three-day-long “Friendsgiving.” Menus are attached for greater detail. Located on the Southeast end of Lake Washington, next to Gene Coulon Park, Water’s Table offers expansive lake views, the Seattle skyline and the distant Olympic Mountains.
- “Friendsgiving” at the Water’s Table bar only, Nov. 21,-23, 2:30-4 p.m. & 10 p.m.-Close, (ages 21+): Gather at the enormous wrap-around indoor bar to enjoy lake views and a menu of a la carte Thanksgiving themed bar bites ($8-13 each), such as turkey sliders, roasted broccoli and ham macaroni (made with Beecher’s White Cheddar), stuffing lollipops, and artichoke flatbread. Wine specials, dollar-off draft beer, and a $10 specialty cocktail (the Naptime Punch, $10, a juicy concoction featuring cherry vodka) will start the friendly festivities! It’s a great late night option.
- Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet, Nov. 22, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., $60 pp: Chef Gerarld Gutierrez has lined up all the favorites and extra special features: A breakfast action station for sweet or savory Belgian waffles, made-to-order omelets, artisan cheese and charcuterie from regional producers, a lineup of favorite hot dishes, a carving station with prime rib or apple cider-glazed roast turkey, seafood bar with chilled poached prawns and smoked salmon, soups and appetizers, and a suite of desserts. Additionally enjoy “bottomless” mimosas for $16, or a “Rainy Mary Bar” for $20.
- Thanksgiving Dinner (Pre Fixe Menu), Nov. 22, 4-7 p.m., $55 pp (or $85 pp with three wine pairings): This three-course dinner (plus a Washington wild mushroom tart hors d’oeuvre) includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert course, with optional wine pairings from regional wineries. Entrée options include prime rib with green beans and roasted garlic Yukon mashed potatoes; apple cider-glazed turkey with brown gravy, home-style stuffing and vegetable medley; or roasted squash gnocchi with crisp sage, tomato brown butter and shaved parmesan.
