Kick off the 2013 Auction of Washington Wines early at Revelry on Red Mountain, May 25 at the stunning Col Solare Winery; Col Solare means “shining hill” in Italian. Back for a fifth year, Revelry on Red Mountain offers guests an unmatched opportunity to rub elbows with growers and winemakers from wine regions across the state, taste new releases from 24 top Washington wineries, and enjoy an evening under the stars on the “shining hill” of Red Mountain.
To pair with the spectacular wines is a gourmet spread prepared by guest chef Jake Crenshaw, chef/owner of Olive Catering in Walla Walla.
New to this year’s event is an exclusive Vineyard Walking Tour hosted by renowned Red Mountain growers. 40 guests will experience this personal tour of the vines and learn about the terroir from the people behind Kiona Vineyards and Ciel Du Cheval Vineyards. A special farm-t0-table luncheon with Charlie Hoppes, owner and winemaker of Fidelitas Winery is included.
This optional tour takes place Sunday, May 26 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Tickets for the Vineyard Walking Tour must be purchased as part of the package, individual tickets are not available.
