Taste Washington brings together celebrated farms, chefs and winemakers for a full day of epicurean adventures Friday, March 29. Join Taste Washington On the Farm for Food, Farming & Cultivating Roots at Oxbow Farms from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or indulge your inner wine connoisseur by joining a brand-new event this year at Canlis from 6-9 p.m.
Each experience – Food, Farming & Cultivating Roots at Oxbow Farms and the Canlis Wine Dinner: The Best Washington Wines You’ve Never Heard Of – will showcase the state’s distinctive ingredients and wines. Savor each bite while learning from the farmers who cultivate the ingredients, the chefs who prepare them and the winemakers who artfully craft wine to complement them all.
Tickets to Taste Washington On the Farm at Oxbow Farms are available for $125 each and include a reception at Seattle’s rugged outfitter, Filson, where you will be greeted with sparkling wine and transportation to and from downtown. Buty will serve her wines alongside Musang Chef and Founder Melissa Miranda’s menu at Oxbow Farm. “Our guests are invited to explore the farm and then enjoy a prepared lunch, just there on the land that grew our meal, lifted with the makings for a perfectly bucolic afternoon: a summation of people who steward the land, grow the foods, shape the wines, craft the meal, offer warm hospitality, and support the cycle.
