Looking for true Washington wine character? Look no further than Woodinville’s Lauren Ashton Cellars whose been creating award winning wines that capture the state’s character in the bottle since 2009.

Although still a fairly young winery (in that it’s been around for less than 10 years), Lauren Ashton Cellars has quickly found it’s footing in the industry. Their access to quality wine grapes from Klipsun and Ambassador Vineyards in the Red Mountain AVA; Old Field Vineyard and the Stillwater Creek Vineyard in the Columbia Valley AVA; and from the Red Willow Vineyard in the Yakima Valley AVA. Sourcing for white grapes are the Arete, Dineen Family, Wautoma, Sagemoor, and den Hoed vineyards in the Columbia Valley AVA. The close partnership they have with the vineyards allows perfect the timing of the harvest in accordance with the style of wine to be made from each selected block of grapes. The grapes are then transported in refrigerated trucks from Eastern Washington to our production facility in Woodinville. In their cellar those grapes are then carefully processed to create true Washington character in the bottle.

Visit their Woodinville Tasting Studio (located in the Hollywood District) to discover what their wines are all about. We took a taste and tour last week – check it out below:
